You know the one. Now called Unicorn Essence, by Farsali. It’s all the rage right now; it’s a serum and a primer. And it’s magical. It prepares your skin for a smooth make-up application which lasts all day. BUT it’s $67.
The other day I was surfing the Deciem website checking out a few other products by The Ordinary (see my last Splurge vs. Steal post here.) and I stumbled upon this:
The High-Spreadability Fluid Primer. Sure it doesn’t come in a pretty purple container, and no it’s not pink and/or related to Unicorns. But it’s $7.90 (CAD) and promises a dewy finish (I hate the matte look of other primers), and even skintone. It’s also oil-free, vegan and cruelty-free. I believe that’s now 3 points for The Ordinary for three amazing product “steals” in the past two days!! Winning.
